La Casa Hispana & La Maison Francaise

La Casa

La Casa Hispana, located on campus at 8 Bull Street. The primary purpose of Casa Hispana is the study and understanding of the Spanish language and culture. This housing option is for women and men and requires applicants in Spanish to have completed Spanish 202 or have a minimum proficiency equivalent. Residents must declare a major or minor in Spanish and speak Spanish at all times in the house. In addition, students living in the house are responsible for hosting 2-3 cultural events per semester. La Casa Hispana is a residential living and learning community located in a historic house on campus that offers great opportunities to students. And this house is located only one block from the center of campus!

Franco House

La Maison Française, located on campus at 6 Bull Street. The primary purpose of the Maison Française is the study and understanding of the French language and culture. The minimum requirement to live at la maison française is completion of French 102 (or proof of the equivalent), and it is a especially attractive living arrangement for students who are interested in majoring, double majoring, or minoring in French. International students from France or Francophone regions of the world as well as international students with an interest in the French-speaking world are also strongly encouraged to apply.
