Language Lab

The Michael Pincus Languages Resource Center offers many resources for students and faculty looking to enhance their language learning and language instruction. Faculty can reserve different classrooms in the the Education Center (ECTR building), located on St. Phillip Street. Rooms 204, 225 and 226 provide different learning environments for instructors that need technology in the classroom. They can also reserve the new LCWA International Lab, located in the J.C. Long building. Additional information on these rooms and the specific technology available in these rooms can be found here.

Both students and faculty are welcome to check out digital cameras and recordering devices. Additionally, it may be possible for the language lab to acquire even more equipment if requested by a faculty members and the equipment might prove of use to the rest of the faculty on campus in the future. Any such inquiries should also be sent to Faculty members may also request assistance with their department or program's website, including updating, editing or the creation of web pages. Additionally, faculty members can also request printed materials (brochures, flyers, banners, posters, etc...) to promote their program, events, etc. Note that these requests will be filled on a first come, first serve basis and that some requests may take longer than others. We recommend that faculty members submit their request(s) as soon as possible to provide the lab enough time to complete the task.
