The School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affairs and its departments offer the following options for scholarship money which is available to our majors and minors who study abroad.
Funding from the School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affairs
The LCWA Scholarship Application is due to Dr. Morrison, Associate Dean, LCWA, 325 Jewish Studies Center. You must turn in the application on paper to Dr. Morrison. We may choose not to consider your application if you do not fill it out completely or do not follow the directions. We do not consider applications for students who have not declared their major or minor in an LCWA program.
Due date for Applications:
- October 15 for Spring programs
- March 15 for Summer Programs
- April 15 for Fall Programs
Please note: These are small scholarships. In the past, they have ranged from $200 to $500. It depends on how many requests we receive. Preference is given to semester-long CofC programs, but we have given small amounts of funding to students in other types of programs.
