The School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affairs offers 2 options for scholarship money which is available to our majors and minors who study abroad.
Funding from the Center for International Education
If you qualify for funding from the Center for International Education, please submit your application through the Center for International Education office, following their requirements and deadlines. The Center for International Education will distribute the funds as they normally do. You will also need to submit an application for funds to us. (That is, you will need to fill out two separate applications—one to the Center for International Education, and a different one, to us.)
Funding from the School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affairs
For
those of you who do not qualify for the scholarships provided by the
Center for International Education, we may be able to provide you with
some funding, even if the CIE cannot. In that case, please complete the Scholarship Application.
The
LCWA application, filled out on one page of paper, is due to Dr.
Morrison, Associate Dean, LCWA, 325 Jewish Studies Center, on the same
day as the application to the CIE is due to them. Please see their website for that date.
For more information, contact the Associate Dean, Shawn Morrison at morrisonsh@cofc.edu.
