The Michael Pincus Languages Resource Center at the College of Charleston offers many resources for students and faculty looking to enhance their language learning and language instruction. Faculty can reserve different classrooms in the the Education Center (ECTR building), located on St. Phillip street between George and Wentworth streets. Rooms 204, 225 and 226 provide different learning environments for instructors that need technology in the classroom & wish to immerse their students into an interactive, media-filled environment. Additional information on these rooms and the specific technology available in these rooms can be found here.
Both students and faculty are welcome to check out video cameras, digital cameras, audio recorders, tripods and much more. Check out our list of items available. Faculty members may also request assistance with their department or program's website, including updating, editing or the creation of a website or web pages. Additionally, faculty members can also request printed materials from the Language Center (brochures, flyers, banners, posters, etc...) to promote their program, events & anything else related to their position at the College of Charleston. Note that these requests will be filled on a first come, first serve basis and that some requests may take longer than others. We recommend that faculty members submit their request(s) as soon as possible to provide the lab enough time to complete the task.
