Multilingual, Multicultural Spain... and you!

Prof. Parissa Tadrissi reminds us all of the Symposium on Multicultural and Multilingual Spain coming up on Friday, Oct. 10.

¡Qué cartel!

Look for these panel presentations:

Gabriel Rei-Doval, "Multi-lingualism in Contemporary Spain: Fact or Fiction?"

Jorge Pérez, "Riding to the Beat of Flamenco: Fugitivas and the Andalusian Female Road Movie"

Silvia Bermúdez, "The Roaring 1980s: The Imagination of Race in the Early Songs of Radio Futura and Mecano"

I say again, isn't that a great looking poster that Prof. Tadrissi made? All LCWA Faculty are welcome to our upcoming workshops on Creating Posters and Flyers using Flickr Creative Commons searches and the free, open-source GIMP image editor. You, too, can learn the skills to take advantage of the Lab plotter. Look for workshop dates soon!

When classes or workshops are not in session, the room is available for all LCWA students to use for their technology needs, including Internet resources and audio recording and editing.
