Department Chair/Associate Professor to Professor Rank. The Department of Hispanic Studies is seeking a chair—field of specialization is open. The department houses one of the largest and most comprehensive Spanish programs in the Southeast, a program in Portuguese, a minor in Linguistics and the nation’s only MA in bilingual Interpreting. Each year nearly 6000 students, including 150 majors and 250 minors, populate our Spanish courses. We seek an enthusiastic teacher-scholar-administrator able to provide vision, value and purpose to the faculty and students alike. MLA interviews.
