Department Chair/Associate Professor to Professor Rank. The Department of Hispanic Studies is seeking a chair—field of specialization is open. The department houses one of the largest and most comprehensive Spanish programs in the Southeast, a program in Portuguese, a minor in Linguistics and the nation’s only MA in bilingual Interpreting. Each year nearly 6000 students, including 150 majors and 250 minors, populate our Spanish courses.
