A New Class with Larry Krasnoff Thursdays; September 4 - December 4 7:00-9:00PM in Rabbi Hirsch Levin Library, Jewish Studies Center Professor Larry Krasnoff is offering an academic course on Jewish-American filmmakers. The screenings for this course are free and open to the public with no registration necessary. American filmmakers have struggled with the issue of how serious artistic aspirations can be achieved within a form of popular entertainment. This course will examine how some Jewish-American filmmakers have dealt with this issue.
