After spending several weeks early in the development process engineering an image that expressed the interconnectedness of the world and languages through the use of a world map and a large tree, the design was shot down but the motif persisted.
Now, the introductory page presents you with the fill tree image and, upon entering the site, each header image is a limb from that "global tree". It is an attempt to express the diversity of the languages and the cultures that the school is trying to embrace and incorporate that desire into the site design.
Each header contextualizes the visitor in a certain region at a certain time of year.
Also, the use of the globe has been incorporated into each and upon careful examination of the image, the globe image becomes clear.
